All Barefoot Security officers are licensed by the State of Florida  Prospective security guards must attend a State approved training program, then pass a comprehensive final exam as well as a thorough background check performed by Florida law enforcement agencies. Initial training is provided for all officers and supervisors, and all of our employees meet or exceed state-mandated training requirements. Officers receive ongoing training, which reduces turnover, improves productivity and morale, and helps minimize liability exposure. On-the-Job Training Program Whether they are new hires or newly assigned to another community, officers undergo an On-the-Job Training Program that includes site orientation, site-specific functions and duties, emergency procedures and public relations. Continuing Education Barefoot Security Officers are encouraged to pursue continuous education. We support our officers' efforts toward career advancement through cooperative scheduling efforts for attendance at local educational institutions. |
